QUẢNG NAM – There is no room for complacency in caring for those who have contributed to the revolution because much more remains to be done, including the provision of better healthcare, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc said on Saturday.

He was speaking at a meeting reviewing  二0 years of implementing policies for revolutionaries in Quảng Nam Province.

The central province, which the PM belongs to, is home to the largest number of contributors to the revolution in Việt Nam.

While praising the province for all it has done thus far, the PM said that both in the short and long term, key tasks remain, including the search for martyrs’ remains, verification of revolutionary contributors, and healthcare for the targeted group.

Localities across the province have also raised funds for upgrading martyrs’ cemeteries, building war memorials, and restoring martyrs’ tombs.

PM Phúc said he highly valued the numerous practical stepls taken by authorities at all levels in the province to acknowledge persons who’ve contributed to the fight for Việt Nam’s independence and freedom.

He said he also respected the enormous efforts by war invalids and contributors to the revolution, noting that they’ve continued to dedicate themselves to the province’s development of their hometown.
