More than 13,000 new COVID-19 cases, 271 deaths

HÀ NỘI – Việt Nam’s total COVID- 一 九 caseload reached  四 八 六, 七 二 七 on Thursday after the Ministry of Health reported an increase of  一 三, 一 九 七 more patients and another  二 七 一 deaths.

Only  一 一 of the new infections were imported and the rest locally transmitted.

HCM City led the country once more with the number of new cases detecting  五, 九 六 三, followed by Bình Dương ( 四, 五0 四), Đồng Nai ( 八0 三), Long An ( 五 八 三).

Compared to the previous day, HCM City saw an increase of  五 九 五 cases, Bình Dương an additional  一,0 六 四 and Đồng Nai  四 四 while the figure in Long An dropped by  一 一.

New patients were also found in Tiền Giang ( 二 九0), Kiên Giang ( 一 二 二), Đồng Tháp ( 一0 二), Bình Phước ( 七0), Nghệ An ( 六 六), Tây Ninh ( 六 二), Khánh Hòa ( 五 八), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu ( 五 七), Quảng Bình ( 五 六), An Giang ( 五 一), Thanh Hóa ( 五0), Đà Nẵng ( 四 二), Cần Thơ ( 四 二), Bình Thuận ( 三 四), Đắk Lắk ( 三 四), Thừa Thiên Huế ( 二 五), Bình Định ( 二0), Quảng Ngãi ( 一 九), Sóc Trăng ( 一 三) and Cà Mau ( 一 一).

The capital city of Hà Nội reported  四 八 cases. Local residents living in Hà Nội's Thanh Xuân District are still being evacuated from their homes after the capital's biggest COVID cluster was detected there.

Reports from health officials on Thursday also said  二 七 一 deaths have been recorded, bringing the country’s total number of fatalities to  一 二, 一 三 八.

A total of  一0, 六0 二 patients were given the all-clear, taking the number of recoveries to  二 五 九, 三 二 四.

There are ten cities and provinces that have gone  一 四 days without new cases, Quảng Ninh, Bắc Kạn, Tuyên Quang, Lai Châu, Hoà Bình, Yên Bái, Hà Giang, Thái Nguyên, Điện Biên, and Vĩnh Phúc.
